You can create folders! means for me it's easier to create lists for smaller projects and fold the folder if I don't want to see it all I prefer to sort by priority as above and order in the way I plan to do things

You can sort the Today view in many ways. When sorting by priority, you get sections and you can move tasks around freely into each priority, and within the same priority group order It's not perfect but fits my use case a lot better. TickTick fits perfectly in that category. I think the simplicity of Todoist works for many people, there's a massive market for it, but I was starting to realise I needed something a bit more, but not as complex as a project management tool. what a relief, it solves all those issues and more. I've reached my limits with those dumb design decisions Todoist where making/made and decided to try TickTick. Not saying it would be the case for everyone, every brain is unique so I suggest you try a few apps till you find the right fit for you. my main measure is how productive I am using it and on Things my motivation and productivity went through the roof in comparison.

I won't try to summarise here why, but the short summary is Things is miles ahead. Luckily I decided to give Things 3 a go a couple of weeks ago, since I'm now mostly using Apple devices. Update (6 months after the initial post): I've given Ticktick a good try for a few months, but found myself not using it as much as I should.
